Follow Gaius and his brothers as they weave their way towards their final destiny, while in the process, fighting barbarian hordes and senatorial assassins in an attempt to protect and defend three of Rome’s most beautiful and enigmatic hostages, even unto death; so decrees Rome!

I enjoyed your first book! It was outstanding! I could not and did not want to put it down - not even to sleep! I loved it! Your support team of people in this undertaking, with you, were the best! Everything seemed perfect - the title of the book (brings a smile at the clever play on words), the images on the cover, especially the 'moth,' descriptions of people, places and things, and the Roman names! The characters were outstanding in every way! Really good people who deeply cared about each other and about doing what was right for everyone concerned! I loved the "General" and his family, his easy way with his brothers, the way they listened and looked up to him, and honored his advice by following what he wanted them to do, and being obedient to his leader(s). He was loyal in every sense of the word to all who depended on him! I enjoyed the women too who became the wives of each of the General's family of brothers. I am definitely looking forward to the next one and becoming one of your most loyal fans!

I was surprised that it turned out to be a love story. And the title General Engagement meant the generals got engaged. Nice play on words.
But how it happens was the interesting part.
Totally enjoyed the story line. The characters seemed alive to me; very well thought out and written.
